Art for all Ages: If you are looking for something fun to do Saturday morning, check out Art for all Ages, an open house featuring artwork from artists of all ages, 5-90! This exciting event will be held this Saturday, April 29 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. at the Community Education and Recreation Department. We hope to see you there to support NMS students with artwork on display.
 
Best Buddies: Best Buddies are meeting in the cafeteria after announcements.
 
Rainbow Loom for Care will be selling items this Friday during lunch.  All the money goes to Froedtert Hospital.  Bracelets and pencil toppers are $1.00, charms and rings are $.50, key chains are $1.50, as well as bracelet rings, and bracelet sets are $1.25.  Earrings are $2.00 while necklaces are $3.00.  Stop by and shop during your lunch on Friday.

Attention All Former Shady Lane Students, Friends, Families, Everyone!!!  Tonight-Friday April 28th at MF High School is the 2nd Annual Wheelchair Basketball Fundraiser for our All Inclusive Playground!!  The doors open at 5:30 and the games start at 6:30.  Food, Fun, Raffle Baskets, Games and Entertainment for ALL!!  Hope to see you there!!

Grad Gram Alert!  - Attention Family, Friends and Teachers of Graduating Seniors
Do you know someone from the class of 2017 graduating in June? Grad Grams are those well wishes and congratulations on cardstock pages that are assembled into a booklet and presented to all graduating seniors along with their high school diploma. These Grad Grams are currently available for sale in the High School main office or at the Elementary and Middle Schools. Think ahead to those family and friends who you would like to get grad grams to in advance so that they can be included in the senior's booklet assembly.  Grad Grams are sponsored by the MFHS Booster Club and sell for $1.00 each, 8 for $5.00 and 25 for $15.00 with proceeds going towards senior scholarships and funding of other activities and events that benefit all MFHS students.  Grad Grams will be due back to the main office no later than Thursday, May 25th.  If you have any questions, please contact Barb Nienow at 262 251-8968. The Booster Club and graduating seniors truly appreciate your support.

Tennis: The Maroon Tennis team defeated Whitman Middle School yesterday by a score of 5-2. #2 Singles player Brittney Boreson won her match 9-0. #4 Singles player Ty Borg won 9-5. Abby Beltrame also won her singles match. The #1 doubles combination of Chase Wagner and Mario D'Antonio won their match 9-3. #2 doubles partners Katie Lockwood and Amiah Marshall-Johnson won 9-0. The #3 doubles partners of Paige Stickney and Nadia Kamara won a nail biter 9-8. The doubles combination of George Wasef and Aiden Kilbourn also won by a score of 9-8. First year head coach and young phenom, Dan Born, received the first tennis win of his career. He is currently in the lead for middle school tennis coach of the year. Great job Maroon team!"

Devyn Barker and Ben Hilbelink won 8-2 at the number one doubles position.
Jack Morril and Matt Diestlehorst won 8-5 at the number 3 doubles position.
Owen Taugtes won a tight match at 3 singles 8-6.
Jack Block clinched the match for us by winning 8-3 at number 4 singles.

We are pleased to announce that 2 of our NMS Art Students won awards at the UW-Washington County Festival of Arts. Grad Grams are sponsored by the MFHS Booster Club and sell for $1.00 each,  8 for $5.00 and 25 for $15.00 with proceeds  going towards senior scholarships and funding of other activities and events that benefit all MFHS students.  Grad Grams will be due back to the main office no later than Thursday, May 25th.  If you have any questions, please contact Barb Nienow at
