Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade bands on a great concert last night. Your efforts paid off and helped to bring in the holidays.
Tonight our 6th grade band and North Jazz Ensemble will be performing their Winter Concert at 7pm in North's Auditorium.  The Jazz band will be featured in some classics pieces for you to enjoy along with our 6th grade band performing some great selection and be sure to come see which 6th grade teacher is starring as our elf!
Christmas is just around the corner which means auditions for our spring musical are, too! Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme - this year the drama club will be doing Beauty and the Beast Jr! Auditions will be held on Wednesday, January 3 from 1:30 to 4:00 and Thursday, January 4, 2:30-4:30 You do need to attend both days of auditions. If you cannot attend both days, please contact Mrs. Hake to make arrangements. You do not need to prepare anything for the audition - just show up with a good attitude, ready to learn and have fun, and we will teach you what you need to know! Students interested in working back stage should also attend auditions.  We will be getting to know each other and learning a lot! We are so excited to get started - can't wait to see you in January!

Art and Comic Club will not meet this week. 7th-8th grade Art and Comic Club will meet on Thursday, December 21 from 2:35-3:35 pm in room 229. Students may bring treats, as we will have a Winter Celebration. Please avoid treats with tree nut/peanut ingredients if possible. See you there!

All students are invited to participate in North's spelling Bee.  It will take place on Tuesday, December 19th after school in the new choir room.  No need to sign up--just show up!  You can get word lists from you ELA teacher and find on Mrs. Wolfe’s Schoology page.
