Athletics:
Congratulations to the 7th grade Girls' Basketball Team on their dominant victory over rival Templeton Middle School from Sussex 39-10.  Sydney Bogan and Madison Gamm were BEASTS on the boards.  While Katie Lockwood and Amiah Marshall-Johnson were terrific defensively, holding Templeton's best player to 1 basket all game long.  Leading scorers for North were Alanna Bullock with 10 points and Lauren Parker with 7 points. Wish the girls luck as they travel to West Bend to take on Badger Middle School tonight.  The girls hope to improve on their 7-2 record this season.

After the sixth week of our North Investopedia Stock Market Simulation, the Business Education Department is proud to announce our top Financial Life Skills investors.  They are Brayden Stephan, Max Davis, Claire Gibson, Evan Redding, and Kaitlin Lansdell.  Keep up the strong research as there are only 4 weeks left in our fall semester investing simulation and be sure to check out Mr. Schneider’s stunning portfolio that is now valued at over $156,000!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls' Basketball Team on their 45-10 Victory over Slinger on Wednesday.  Leading scorer for the Falls was Lauren Parker with 12 points. Last night, the 7th Grade Girls' Basketball Team lost to Kennedy Middle School in Germantown 43-26.  Leading scorer for the Falls was Sydney Bogan with 12 points. The girl's current record is 6-2.  Come out on Monday and cheer the girls on as they take on arch rival Templeton Middle School from Sussex.

The 8th Grade Girls Basketball team defeated Brown Deer last night, running their winning streak to four straight games. The girls played a strong second half to pull away and improve their record to 4-2, and host Germantown on Thursday. Get your friends together and come cheer on the basketball girls!

We are now into the sixth week of our North Investopedia Stock Market Simulation.  After an exciting month on Wall Street, the Business Education Department is proud to announce the top investors from our 8th grade class.  They are Max Davis, Kaitlin Lansdell, Evan Redding, Mia Fredrick, Claire Gibson, and Olivia Hoffman.   Strong research has been conducted by our 90 Financial Life Skills students, staff members, parents, and other interested students, including Billy Gottemoller (Gotamoller) and Hayden Fox, our 7th grade leaders.  Keep buying and selling stocks as there are only 5 weeks left in the simulation.

Reminder Falls Creative video club meets today after school from 2:40 - 3:30 in the Library Media Center.
 
The North Business Education department is proud to announce that our Computer Applications students are receiving positive responses to their Celebrity Letters.  Ava Sardina received a letter from Jennie Finch. Jennie Finch was a winning Team USA pitcher and played professionally with the Chicago Bandits! Jennie sent a personalized signed picture for Ava and one for the class!  Megan Schulz and Claire Wattenbach both received items from the Green Bay Packers.  They both got a letter, the history of the Packers and a pen and bracelet.  Check out all of these great celebrity souvenirs in room 141!  Stop on in and see our celebrity wall of fame!!
 
Athletics:
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team on their 37-6 victory over Brown Deer Middle School last night.  The girls continue to play tremendous defense.  Leading a balanced scoring attack for the Falls were Amiah Marshall-Johnson, Alanna Bullock, Lauren Parker, and Kali Austin.  The team’s record improves to 4-1 as they prepare to visit Brown Deer on Monday for a rematch.  Thanks to all the AWESOME fans who came out to support our cheerleaders, dance team, and basketball players.
 
The 8th Grade Girls defeated Brown Deer last night, 31 to 22. Falls built a big lead in the first half and cruised to a 3rd straight win. Great job, girls!

The Teen Center is hosting a Spooky Stalks Field Trip on Friday, October 20 starting at 6:30 pm with the bus leaving at 7:00 pm and returning at 9:00 pm.  Enjoy caramel apples and hot chocolate after the Spooky Stalks.  Teens will need to be picked up at 10:00 pm.  You will need to register online by Friday, October 13 using the class code 17558.  The cost is $20.00.  This information is also posted around the school and located on the Community Education & Recreation Department website.

Athletics:
Congratulations to the 6th and 7th grade boys cross country team for placing first at the conference meet last night. Top 5 finishers for North were:  Isaac Nichols, 3rd.  William Toth 17th.  Grant Schultz 16th.  Adam Lynch 30th and Joseph Tocco 8th. Other top finishers were Emily Hansen, 6th, Stephen Esterle 12th, Ella Bill 5th, Emily Grant 17th, Chloe Synor 18th, and a first place overall by Braden Reigstad. Remember no practice today.

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Girls Basketball team who trailed Sussex 16 to 4 at halftime, and fought their way to a dramatic 26-23 overtime win last night! Super effort, ladies, good luck in your game tonight at home vs. Brown Deer!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls' Basketball team on their 39-3 victory over rival Templeton Middle School from Sussex.  The girls held Templeton scoreless in the first have through GREAT team defense.  Leading scorers for North were Amiah Marshall-Johnson with 11 points and Lauren Parker with 8 points.  Great rebounding was attributed to Katie Lockwood and Sydney Bogan.  The girl's host Brown Deer tonight at home in the gym.  Come out and cheer us on tonight!  All 7th and 8th grade girls' basketball players should report to Mr. Kirt's room 218 immediately after announcements.

Attention North FBLA members!  Our membership deadline is Tuesday, October 3rd, so we need your forms and money no later than 3 pm tomorrow!  Please turn in your paperwork and money to Mr. Nitz or Mrs. Fraf!  This will secure your spot with the 4-time FBLA State Champions!
