Getting Ready to......
Put Your Best Foot Forward
Summer is rapidly coming to an end and the beginning
of the 2014-2015 school year is just around the
corner. We are anxious for the school year to begin and look forward to seeing our students and staff.
Students are expected to be positive leaders and do
their best in school. Students’ cooperation and hard work, coupled with the efforts of the dedicated
staff at North, will result in the finest educational experience. It's going to be a great year!
Once again, we are going “green” and not mailing a “summer packet,” but rather have placed all forms
and information on our website.

Important upcoming dates
Mark your calendars now! Schedule distribution day, student/parent information night, first day of school make-up picture day and open house are on the list. See dates and times here.
Where in the world is NORTH Reading?
Reading over the summer is really important! Reading exercises our minds, opens our eyes to new ideas, expands our creativity, inspires our imagination and even helps us improve our spelling. So, where in the world are you reading this summer? Take a picture of yourself reading anywhere in the city, state, country or world and email it with your name, book title and your location to Mrs. Gieryn (firstname.lastname@example.org). We will highlight YOU in our North Facebook album: Where In The World is North Reading? Send your pictures all summer! We want to see where in the world you are reading!!!
Our North Facebook page can be found by going to our North Middle School Website or the following link:Email to Mrs. Gieryn

Website for Our Veterans!
7th and 8th Grade Computer Applications students created a website for our North Middle School Veterans Program on May 22nd in North's Auditorium. The websites include information on the wars the United States was involved in, SDMF Artifact Museum, SDMF Veterans programs through the years, and links to other websites on United States History.
Our nation's history is full of brave men and women who had the spirit and integrity to stand up and fight for our freedom. The students at North Middle School never want to forget those sacrifices. Click here.
At North Middle School, our mission is to educate the individual to live as an intellectually empowered, socially responsible member of the 21st century global community.
