Meet Ms. Nadia Nimmow, child and youth counselor. At least that’s where Nimmow’s interests lean in her early teens. There’s plenty of time to decide on a career later, but Nimmow is getting a good idea of how her passions translate to the working world.
“I love building my communication skills in language arts and working with young adults so I can help them,” said Nimmow, whose mother is a social worker.

iCreate Video Production Club is in the News
Creativity is hard at work deep in the belly of North Middle School. That's where a group of students are known to some as more than just students. They are reporters and producers and script writers and researchers. They are the iCreate Video Production Club.
Consisting of almost 20 students, club adviser Tara Tess said the mission of the club is to help those who are interested in the multimedia field as a career learn more about the dynamics of media. Read the article here.

What is LINK? LINK is an afterschool, supervised study hall that is available to students who need extra time for homework. It is generally held every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2:45 – 4:15. Click here to get more details and schedule.

Website for Our Veterans!
7th and 8th Grade Computer Applications students created a website for our North Middle School Veterans Program on May 22nd in North's Auditorium. The websites include information on the wars the United States was involved in, SDMF Artifact Museum, SDMF Veterans programs through the years, and links to other websites on United States History.
Our nation's history is full of brave men and women who had the spirit and integrity to stand up and fight for our freedom. The students at North Middle School never want to forget those sacrifices. Click here.
